Carrie Kus

Carrie Kus BSc (Hons) CIHM is Director of Training at Property Training Solutions Ltd. Carrie has over 20 years industry experience in the private rented sector, both as an investor and private landlord herself and also as a Director of Clarity Estates, a letting agency based in Sheffield & Chesterfield.

Carrie held a Non-Executive Director post with the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) for 5 years before its merger with the National Landlords Association (NLA). Carrie has extensive knowledge of learning and development, training and qualifications and took the strategic lead in this area. She continues to provide training and consultancy services to the new organisation, the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), including Local Authority mandatory training for HMO landlords.

Carrie is also a Director of a successful training company, Clarity Consultancy Ltd, providing training, qualifications and apprenticeships to the wider housing sector, including Local Authorities, charities and housing associations. She works in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) as a tutor, apprenticeship associate and author along with providing them with quality assurance services.

Finally, on a voluntary basis Carrie is also a Director with Four Trees, a social Letting agency set up by the Sheffield based charity Nomad to provide housing to homeless young people in the city.

Peter Foulds

Peter Foulds BSc (Hons) MRICS is Director of Risk Management at Property Training Solutions Ltd. With over 35 years industry experience, Peter is also Director of Risk Management at Appraisers UK Ltd, a leading panel management provider and his other roles include Chief Surveyor for Allied Surveyors and Valuers Ltd and Risk Management Director of Riverside Property Solutions Ltd, a specialist Receivership and Asset Management Company.

Peter has extensive knowledge in the Buy to Let and HMO arena and was also part of the RICS working group that delivered the Buy to Let and HMO Guidance technical document in 2016.

Previous roles include Head of Group Property Services at Paragon Finance Plc and Director of Redbrick Survey and Valuation, a specialist Receivership service.
